Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 whole Chicken cut into pieces
  • 1 cup Rice
  • 1 medium Onion chopped
  • 1 medium Bell pepper chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 cup Tomato sauce
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Frozen peas
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper to taste

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat a large pot over medium heat. Add a bit of oil and brown the chicken pieces.
  2. 2. Remove the chicken and set aside. In the same pot, sauté the onion, bell pepper, and garlic until softened.
  3. 3. Add the tomato sauce and cook for a few minutes. Return the chicken to the pot.
  4. 4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Add the rice, peas, salt, and pepper.
  5. 5. Reduce heat and simmer for about 30 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and the stew is thickened.
  6. 6. Serve hot and enjoy!
