- 1 quart Vanilla Ice Cream
- 1 pound Pound Cake sliced
- 4 Egg Whites
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1. Preheat oven to 500°F (260°C).
2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place slices of pound cake on the sheet.
3. Scoop ice cream onto the cake slices and shape into a dome. Freeze for 15 minutes.
4. In a mixing bowl, whisk egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar and vanilla extract, whisking until stiff peaks form.
5. Cover the ice cream and cake with meringue, sealing all edges.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 3-5 minutes, until meringue is golden brown. Serve immediately.
