Ingredients

  • 1 lb Chicken Breast cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • ¼ cup Soy Sauce
  • ¼ cup Bourbon
  • ½ cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger Powder
  • ¼ cup Water
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoon water

Instructions 

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, bourbon, brown sugar, garlic powder, ginger powder, and water.
  4. Pour the sauce over the chicken in the skillet and bring to a simmer.
  5. Add the cornstarch mixture to the skillet and stir until the sauce thickens.
  6. Serve hot over rice or with your favorite side dish.
