Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Pork shoulder, diced
  • 1 large Onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Roasted green chilies, chopped
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 2 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, brown the diced pork shoulder over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and cook until the onion is translucent.
  3. 3. Stir in the roasted green chilies, chicken broth, ground cumin, and dried oregano.
  4. 4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 2 hours, or until the pork is tender.
  5. 5. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
