  • 1 lb Cheese Curds
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Water cold
  • 1 quart Vegetable Oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. Heat the oil in a deep fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Gradually add the cold water, whisking until smooth.
  4. Dip the cheese curds into the batter, coating them completely.
  5. Carefully place the battered cheese curds into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes.
  6. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
