Doughnut Ingredients
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Baking powder
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Milk
- 2 units Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 4 cups Vegetable oil (for frying)
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about ½ inch thickness. Cut out doughnuts using a doughnut cutter.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the doughnuts until golden brown on both sides.
Remove doughnuts from oil and drain on paper towels. Let cool slightly before serving.
