- 400 g penne pasta
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 60 ml olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
- to taste salt
- to taste black pepper
- 30 g Parmesan cheese grated
- 2 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
1. Cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
3. Add the red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
4. Add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet and toss to coat with the garlic and oil mixture.
5. Remove from heat and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
