Ingredients

  • 500 g All-purpose flour
  • 300 ml Water lukewarm
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 packet Active dry yeast 7g

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
  2. 2. Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  3. 3. Add the yeast mixture to the flour mixture and knead until a smooth dough forms.
  4. 4. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. 5. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  6. 6. Shape the dough into a loaf and place it on a baking sheet.
  7. 7. Bake for 40 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
  8. 8. Let the bread cool on a wire rack before slicing.
