Ingredients

  • 3 lb Sirloin Tip Roast
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Rosemary chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Thyme chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper ground
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. Rub the roast with olive oil.
  3. Mix rosemary, thyme, salt, pepper, and garlic in a bowl. Rub this mixture all over the roast.
  4. Place the roast in a roasting pan.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Then reduce the oven temperature to 325°F (165°C) and continue roasting for about 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare.
  6. Remove the roast from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
