Ingredients 

Dough

  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Water warm
  • 1 tablespoon Oil

Filling

  • 2 cups Potatoes mashed
  • 1 cup Cheese shredded
  • 1 tablespoon Butter melted

Instructions 

  1. 1. Mix flour and salt in a bowl.
  2. 2. Add warm water and oil, mix until dough forms.
  3. 3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes.
  4. 4. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes.
  5. 5. Roll out the dough and cut into circles.
  6. 6. Place a spoonful of filling on each circle, fold and seal edges.
  7. 7. Boil perogies in salted water until they float.
  8. 8. Optionally, fry boiled perogies in butter until golden.
