Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Italian sausage mild or spicy
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 3 cups Russet potatoes diced
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 cups Kale chopped
  • 1 medium Onion diced
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper to taste

Instructions 

  1. 1. Brown the sausage in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. 2. Add the sausage, chicken broth, potatoes, onion, and garlic to the slow cooker.
  3. 3. Cook on low for 4-5 hours or until potatoes are tender.
  4. 4. Stir in the heavy cream and kale. Cook for an additional 30 minutes.
  5. 5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
