Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Bread Flour
  • 350 g Water Room temperature
  • 100 g Sourdough Starter Active
  • 10 g Salt

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and water. Mix until no dry flour remains. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  2. 2. Add the sourdough starter and salt to the dough. Mix until well combined.
  3. 3. Cover the bowl and let the dough ferment at room temperature for about 24 hours.
  4. 4. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Place a Dutch oven inside to heat up.
  5. 5. Shape the dough into a round loaf. Carefully place it into the preheated Dutch oven.
  6. 6. Bake for 30 minutes with the lid on, then remove the lid and bake for another 15 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
  7. 7. Let the bread cool completely before slicing.
