- 1.5 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 0.5 cup Butter softened
- 2 Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 0.5 cup Milk
- 1 cup Strawberries sliced
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
In another bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder. Gradually add to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with the flour mixture.
Fold in the sliced strawberries.
Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake pan.
Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
