Instructions

  2. 2. Add sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir constantly until the mixture reaches 300°F (150°C) on a candy thermometer.
  3. 3. Pour the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread it evenly.
  4. 4. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top if using. Let it cool completely.
  5. 5. Break into pieces and store in an airtight container.
