Ingredients
Main Ingredients
- 500 g Bread Flour
- 350 g Water Room temperature
- 100 g Sourdough Starter Active
- 10 g Salt
Instructions
- 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and water. Mix until no dry flour remains. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- 2. Add the sourdough starter and salt to the dough. Mix until well combined.
- 3. Cover the bowl and let the dough ferment at room temperature for about 24 hours.
- 4. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Place a Dutch oven inside to heat up.
- 5. Shape the dough into a round loaf. Carefully place it into the preheated Dutch oven.
- 6. Bake for 30 minutes with the lid on, then remove the lid and bake for another 15 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
- 7. Let the bread cool completely before slicing.
