  • 4 large Russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 2 cloves Garlic smashed
  • 1 tablespoon Thyme fresh
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Peel the potatoes and cut the ends off to make flat surfaces.
  3. Heat butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add potatoes and cook until golden brown on both sides.
  4. Add garlic, thyme, and chicken broth to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Transfer skillet to the oven and roast for 30 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
