Freezer Slaw Recipe
This freezer slaw is a great make-ahead side dish. Perfect for BBQs and picnics.

Main Ingredients
- 1 head Cabbage shredded
- 1 cup Carrots shredded
- 1 cup Green bell pepper chopped
- 1 cup White vinegar
- 2 cups Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
In a large bowl, combine cabbage, carrots, and green bell pepper.
In a saucepan, bring vinegar, sugar, salt, and mustard seeds to a boil. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
Pour hot mixture over vegetables and mix well.
Let cool, then pack into freezer bags and freeze.
To serve, thaw in refrigerator overnight.
