- 4 pieces Chicken breasts boneless, skinless
- 1 cup Buttermilk
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper
- 2 cups Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- 1. In a mixing bowl, combine the buttermilk, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken breasts and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- 2. In another bowl, mix the flour with a bit more salt and pepper.
- 3. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
- 4. Dredge the marinated chicken breasts in the flour mixture, making sure they are well coated.
- 5. Fry the chicken breasts in the hot oil until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side.
- 6. Remove the chicken from the pan and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- 7. Serve hot and enjoy!
