Ingredients
Main Ingredients
- 500 g All-purpose flour
- 300 ml Water lukewarm
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 packet Active dry yeast 7g
Instructions
- 1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
- 2. Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water and let it sit for 5 minutes.
- 3. Add the yeast mixture to the flour mixture and knead until a smooth dough forms.
- 4. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- 5. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- 6. Shape the dough into a loaf and place it on a baking sheet.
- 7. Bake for 40 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
- 8. Let the bread cool on a wire rack before slicing.
