

Burger or Hot Dog Buns Recipe

Ingredients
Main Ingredients
- 3 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Warm water 110°F
- 2 tablespoon Sugar
- 2 teaspoon Active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 2 tablespoon Olive oil
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and divide it into 8 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a bun and place on a baking sheet.
- Cover and let the buns rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool before serving.
