

Beer Battered Onion Rings Recipe

- 2 large Onions sliced into rings
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Beer any light beer
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 quart Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- 1. Heat the oil in a deep fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- 2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- 3. Gradually whisk in the beer until the batter is smooth.
- 4. Dip the onion rings into the batter, letting any excess drip off.
- 5. Fry the onion rings in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per batch.
- 6. Remove the onion rings with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- 7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
